SONNY BURGESS, KERN KENNEDY AND BOBBY CRAFFORD (USA) & HEMSBY HOUSE BAND - Featuring Wayne Hopkins and Clive Osbourne

All the way from Newport Arkansas, Sonny's unique vocals and dynamic guitar are the embodiment of the classic Sun rockabilly sound. Accompanied by two of his original Pacers, the boogie piano master himself, Kern Kennedy, plus Arkansas' own Bobby Crafford on drums. You can expect an explosive performance from the rockabilly wildman. A real headline act for Hemsby. 'We Wanna Boogie', 'Red Headed Woman',

'My Buckets Got a Hole in It' and 'Ain't Got a Thing'. Every one is a killer and that's for sure.

DALE HAWKINS (USA) AND THE HEMSBY HOUSE BAND

From Goldmine the Louisiana rocker best known for his big selling chart record 'Susie-Q' (Billboard no. 27) which was covered by Elvis, Creedance, cousin Ronnie Hawkins and many more, even the Rolling Stones! Dales scored 3 more chart hits in the Billboard Top 100. 'La-do-dada' (no. 32, covered by Gene Vincent). 'Class Cutter' (no. 52) 'A House, A Car and a Wedding Ring' (no. 88). After his fine Rockers Reunion performance in 2007 we had to bring him back to Hemsby, with cow bell of course

LEVI DEXTER AND THE CAT HOUSE CREEPERS (USA & UK)

It was in 1977 that Levi, the revival leader and Rockats tore through the club circuit with a wild and frantic stage act. In 1978 Levi landed in the USA and formed a US Rockats band and headlined major venues from Hollywood to New York as well as appearing on American TV in commercials. Now flying over for a rare one off UK gig. Also Raucous has a wild DVD available.

BLUE CATS (STARRING CLINT BRADLEY, CARLO AND STEF EDWARDS AND PAUL DIFFIN)

After 15 years we are knocked out to have the original Tunnel line-up reunited for this exclusive performance. The popular 80's band are best known for their hot albums 'Bluecats', 'Fight Back', 'The Tunnel' and later their 'Race with the Devil' stage show. They toured extensively in the USA and all over Europe and even made a tour of Japan in 1992. Thanks and welcome back guys. Look out for the new 2007 CD.

PLUS ALL THE OTHER BANDS

A great big 'G'Day' to Australia's WES PUDSLEY AND THE SONIC ACES. After 10 years and over 1,000 performances they are renowned from Alice Springs to Sidney as that country's wildest and most gifted exponents of authentic poundin' rockabilly. From Sweden we welcome the talented BLUE VALLEY BOYS who have an excellent CD on the Tail Records and from London, the ever popular CARLOS AND THE BANDITOS, hats and all! Stunning LAURA B AND THE MOONLIGHTERS are an exciting new seven piece all star 50's R&B combo who will be gracing the main stage, whilst THE REVOLUTIONAIRES get a fully deserved main stage spot this time. Led by THE HEMSBY HOUSE BAND'S drummer, the dashing Mark Spreckly, the Belgian RUMBA KINGS are back. Don't miss new star on the horizon ELVIS AND THE BLUE MOON TRIO. These lads have been selling out shows all over the south and are destined for a very bright future. I'm also looking forward to seeing PHIL MORGAN'S WESTERN ACES. Best of luck to all the excellent bands this weekend. As always there are lots of promoters here this weekend. No pressure then!
